What is ulcer: an open sore on an external or internal surface of the body, caused by a break in the skin or mucous membrane which fails to heal. Ulcers range from small, painful sores in the mouth to bedsores and serious lesions of the stomach or intestine.
What causes ulcer: Stomach and duodenal ulcers are usually due to one of two causes: the bacterium Helicobacter pylori or non steroidal anti — inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen. An ulcer, regardless of the cause, can cause abdominal pain,bleeding, or even cause a hole (perforation).
What are the symptoms for ulcer: Upper abdominal pain is a common symptom.
The prevention for ulcer: Some helpful tips to prevent or allow healing of ulcers include: Avoid foods that irritate your stomach. ... Take non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS including aspirin and ibuprofen) with food, as this may decrease your risk of irritating the lining of your stomach. Learn how to control your stress levels.
Treatment for ulcer: Treatment usually includes medication to decrease stomach acid production. If it is caused by bacteria, antibiotics may be required.

About me
My names Danielle Bates and I'm 13 years old. I like drawing and eating. I don't like many subjects but I've learned to deal with it so i can get good grades a be successful in the future. I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. All of them have come to Papakura high school and one of them are still here with me, his name is Noah Bates. I am a very stubborn but sometimes alright person.
